Job description

Job Summary:
The Employee Relations (ER) Manager is responsible for fostering positive employee relations and ensuring a harmonious working environment within the Domestic BPO organization. This role involves handling employee concerns, addressing conflicts, promoting effective communication, and implementing policies to enhance employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations:
• Proactively manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work culture.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances and provide fair and timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for maintaining positive employee relations.
2. Policy Implementation:
• Ensure consistent application and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and update policies as necessary.
• Train employees and management on policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
3. Communication:
• Facilitate effective communication between employees and management to enhance transparency.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss employee concerns, disseminate information, and address any potential issues.
4. Employee Engagement:
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Organize team-building activities, events, and programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
5. Performance Management:
• Collaborate with HR and management to address performance issues and develop improvement plans.
• Provide guidance on performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
6. Conflict Resolution:
• Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
• Advise management on conflict resolution strategies and proactive measures to prevent future conflicts.
7. Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employee relations matters.
• Prepare reports on employee relations activities and present findings to senior management as needed.
8. Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with legal and HR teams to address legal and compliance issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in employee relations, preferably within the BPO industry.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Certification in HR or Employee Relations is a plus.
