More about this role
Set up and Manage Imports and distribution for the India business. This Role will be responsible for clearance in a compliant way with 3 PL and other internal stakeholders and also for the distribution of goods till the importer.
What you need to know about this position:
Custom Clearance:
- Coordination with WH /Plant, Intimation to FF on container placement as per plants requirements,
- Coordination with plant to arrange the transport and container., Collate cross-check documents from Plant like Invoice, Packing List, COA, and AMEA Invoice.
- Share the samples with CHA for Testing., Arrange Health Certificate /COO /Legalization of documents as per importer norms, Check and arrange Shipping Bill from CHA, Get BL/AWB from shipping line and share with importer, Collate all Shipping and Custom documents and send original to importer for custom clearance.
- Share a set of documents with the finance for payments. Share export proof and shipping bills to plants for their records and excise. Payment /Billing clearance of the Custom House Agent. Export document retention, Marinating DSR to update the users,
- Agreed timeline on custom clearance and various other certificates required for exports and their follow-up to deliver on time. Arranging the customs clearance at the overseas end.
- Coordination for documents for customs clearance, arranging the duties and fulfilling the requirements of the customs and other govt. body.
International Freight:
- Update the lane with ICT for International Freight and coordination with the ICT for contracts and agreements. Coordination with factory and CHA for Placement of containers. Getting BL and submitting the copies to the concerns, Payment clearance for FF, and Regular updates on the movement of the shipments.
- PI of FF to fulfill the commitment and deliver on time.
Warehousing:-
- Inform 3 PL about the material in transit and arrange their documentation at the overseas end. Manage GRN and STN at the overseas end. Ensure smooth billing. Prepare a report and share it with the concerns. Prioritized their priority in case required.
Domestic Transport
- Arrange the vehicle at exporters end for box movement, Taking care of commercials with the help of the procurement team. Arranging seal for containers. Data Logger if Required.
- Arrange the permit for borders.
- Arrange the unloading loading at CFS end with the help of the transporter, Similar kind of operation at the overseas end at the time of customs clearance. Data information and Tracking. Billing and Payments.
Customer Service
- To coordinate with a team of outsourced executives for Order Processing at MBS and handle the escalations made by them.
- To build sustainable business relationships with all distributors and handle escalations with respect to their orders ensure distributor satisfaction and help Sales deliver their Targets

Education / Certifications:
Required Minimum 8 to10 Years Experience at Importer Side having complete ground level Knowledge of Imports and Exports. Food Safety Standards , CAPEX , EIA , ADC , AQ,, PQ knowledge will be required
