Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Western Dance Teacher to join our school project for a duration of one month. The selected candidate will be responsible for instructing students in various Western dance styles, with the goal of preparing them for a spectacular performance on our annual day.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum:
Teach students as per the set curriculum that covers various Western dance styles, ensuring it aligns with the skill levels of the students.
Instruction:
Conduct engaging and effective dance classes for students, focusing on techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance abilities.
Choreography:
Create captivating dance routines suitable for a school performance, taking into consideration the diverse skill levels of the students.
Rehearsals:
Organize and lead regular rehearsals to ensure that students are well-prepared for the annual day performance.
Motivation and Encouragement:
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, motivating students to express themselves through dance and build confidence.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with school staff, parents, and students regarding the progress of the dance program.
Costume and Prop Coordination:
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to coordinate costumes and props for the performance.
Assessment:
Assess the progress of each student and provide recommendations for further improvement.
Adaptability:
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Participation in School Events:
Actively participate in school events, meetings, and any other activities related to the dance program.
