Job description
Data Analysis And Insights Generation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to airline operations, including flight performance, on-time arrivals, passenger satisfaction, and operational costs from primary and secondary sources
- Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop actionable insights
- Present findings to stakeholders, including management, operations teams, and cross-functional departments
- Deeper insights to support the ongoing projects and initiation of new projects
- Provide preliminary commentary to explain business performance, drivers, and optimization opportunities
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify areas for operational improvement through data analysis, process mapping, and operational benchmarking
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize flight schedules, crew utilization, resource allocation, and other operational processes
- Monitoring & quality checks on the implemented projects, chatbot, voicebot, customer notifications, feedback mechanisms
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, cost reduction, and customer experience
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess risks, and manage project dependencies
- Regularly report project progress to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key operational metrics
- Monitor performance against established KPIs and benchmarks, identifying areas of concern or improvement
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including flight operations, maintenance, customer service, finance, and marketing, to gather insights and drive alignment on operational initiatives
- Providing support to stakeholders regarding insights/data requirements with tables/charts/stories using relevant data points
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Qualification Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Requirement
- Existing research knowledge, experience in giving actionable business recommendations based on learnings/synthesis of data (internal & external)
- Good report writing skills and expectational presentation skills (PPT)
- Strong proficiency in data processing, tabulation, and analysis (Excel) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboarding is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and derive actionable insights
- Customer Centric - Ability to understand and prioritize stakeholder needs. Creates value through business impact leveraging primary & secondary research
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Project management experience, including project scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in airline operations is a plus
