The KPMG Global Services (KGS) Tax is a diverse team spread across multiple cities in India. We provide tax and compliance services to KPMG Firms globally. Responsibilities

Roles & responsibilities

  • Implement client's engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects).
  • Manage client expectations and delivery of services to expatriate employees
  • Review / Sign tax returns and equalizations of expatriate and inpat employees
  • Mentor and coach staff
  • Manage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilization
  • Manage people development and performance management for their group.
  • Support the Manager in pursuits, proposals and engagement reporting

Qualifications

Educational qualifications

  • Minimum Master's Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience
  • Enrolled Agent Certification or CPA

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills

  • The candidate must have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 Firm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
  • Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulations

Preferred Technical & Functional Skills

  • Knowledge on Financial Services sector from Global Mobility tax perspective is an added advantage.
  • An awareness of and an interest in the US political and economic environment.
