Job description

QA/QC Civil Engineer is to supervise functions and ensure that operations for client needs are satisfactory and meet industry and internal quality standards. Quality assurance procedures are planned and monitored, and quality plans are developed for the company's projects.

A competent QA QC Inspector/ Engineer at the site can prevent the rectification work and can prevent the big loss of the company. What are the detailed duties for Civil QA QC Engineer at the site and what should you write in your CV if you want to join an organization as a QA QC Engineer

QA QC is responsible to prepare a method statement for activity and work. Before starting a new activity, a method statement shall be prepared and shall be sent to the client or consultant for approval. Work shall be executed with the approved method statement only. Method statement shall be procedure shall be prepared with reference of the project specification, standards, complying with the material-technical datasheet.

A method statement or job procedure shall include the following details.

1. Scope of work
2. Responsibilities of respective staff involved in work.
3. Materials details (If any)
4. Methodology or procedure
5. Format shall be attached with method statement like RFI, ITP, Inspection Report, Pour Card
6. Approved Risk assessment (RA), Job hazard analysis (JHA)

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ROAD, HIGHWAYS, BRIDGES AND ASPHALT WORK
