The Context / Purpose Of The Job
- To be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation.
- Oversee digital security
- Performance maintenance to ensure system is operating in full capacity.
- Ensure installation of hardware and software when required.
- Plan the future growth and expansion of business network
Job Responsibilities Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility - Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customers networks and in house servers
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
- Assist in network design and implementation.
- Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
- Install and configure computer network equipment.
- Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
- Provide network support to users.
- Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
- Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
- Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
- Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and maintain network users/permissions.
- Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
- Create technicaFirl support documentation for systems and applications.
Required Skills & Experience - Location- Gamharia, Jamshedpur
- Ctc 11 - 14lacs
- 5+ years experience in a network administration role
- Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 preferred
- Previous experience with Cisco switches and routers preferred
- MCSE certification a plus
- CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a plus
- Qualification: BE/ BTech, BSc, ME/ MTech, MBA/ PGDM, MCA, MSc ( Maths , Stats , OR ,Physics) - Must be a Full Time Course
Threshold Skills And Capabilities Required To Execute The Role Proven experience in a network administrator role
Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking
Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training
Behavioural Competencies Proficiency in forging
Customer/Supplier/Partner Relationship.
Ability to interact with external business partners Conflict /Risk
