EQ India Career Returners Programme: Test Engineer Location: Chennai / Bangalore Mode of Operation: Hybrid Are you ready to reignite your career journey Equiniti (EQ) India is partnering with Career Returners to launch the EQ India Career Returners Programme, for individuals who have taken a career break and are eager to re-enter the workforce.
You will be an experienced professional who has had a career break of 18 months or more (as of March 2024) for childcare, eldercare or other reasons. You may have been working small-scale around your other commitments or you may not have done any paid work at all during this period.

Business Function The department use Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) as its application lifecycle management tool working in conjunction with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) to capture the individual test plans and testing iterations. The team has a breadth of knowledge across pensions, pension payroll, test analysis, test automation and non-functional testing using a combination of onshore and offshore test professionals.
Core Responsibilities - Writing of test conditions/scenarios, test scripts with expected results and test data for testing projects
- Manual Test execution while accurately recording and storing test results
- Fully understand how all aspects of their work integrates with the rest of the SDLC
- Supporting the Agile testing process, attending daily stand-ups and ownership of individual user stories
- Implementing scheduled tests, execution and logging the tests and evaluating the results and documenting any deviations from expected results
- Participating in test review meetings within the team. Defect retesting, fault reviews and defect analysis of any issues raised
- Providing technical testing support for vulnerability testing for application data transfers
Skills Attributes And Behaviour - A Good background in working with Agile testing process
- A good understanding of test methods, covering - system testing, regression testing, exploratory testing,
- Minimum 2+ Years Experience in Software Testing
- Negative testing and platform testing
- Test Automation script execution using Selenium is added advantage
- Experience/Exposure to database SQL Server, Microsoft office and SharePoint
- A good team player capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances.
