BR&AF The business risk and audit function (BR&AF) provides assurance and recommendations to the Executive Board and the Audit Committee on Randstad Group’s (risk) management, control and governance practices. Therefore the department facilitates in setting governance standards. It provides advice on internal control improvements, it conducts audits, special investigations and assignments worldwide on request of the Executive Board and Audit Committee. BR&AF’s responsibility includes the quarterly reporting based on: the risk and internal control self assessments, audit results, discussions on internal control weaknesses and analysis of the key risks reported throughout the company's management structure. This also substantiates the Group’s in-control statements. The global function consists of team members operating through hubs spread over 4 continents. The team is organized in a matrix consisting of control & audit focus teams on business and functional areas (e.g. digital, talent, client, back office & shared service centers and fraud & forensics) and partners that are the linking pin to operating units (business risk & audit partners) with a global view. A support group is set up for professional practice, learning & development, quality improvement & methods, analytics and PMO. Representatives of the different groups (Focus teams, BR&A Partners and support group) form the BR&AF core management team that reports to the Managing Director BR&AF.

how you will contribute As Business Risk & Audit Partner - Technologies/Digital - Senior Expert you: provide management combined assurance, utilizing insights from your enterprise risk management assessments in the region, and internal control as well as internal audit activities, and create momentum within the company to strengthen the risk-control position related to all our business operations in Technologies/Digital market, including processes like: Client Delivery, Talent, Financial administrative procedures including payroll processing etc. The Technologies/Digital market in Randstad contains all markets where we are active in providing Technologies/Digital services with delivery centers and business operations in India, US, Canada and France. summarize insights from risk analysis, internal control assessments and audits executed in your region for local general & financial management and local operating company management teams. coordinate and report to Technologies/Digital leadership and local operating company management in your market on the outcomes of risk management, internal control and internal audit in close collaboration with other involved and impacted functions within the group. To do so you utilize the expertise and available insights from the focus teams in BR&AF (Digital, Talent, Client Delivery and Shared Services and Functions) lead and facilitate risk assessments with local management teams in your region and provide coaching to them on their risk & control situation. take ownership for the planning, execution and reporting of the risk, internal control and internal audit activities in your region to make impact. You know your impact is there when management follows-up on your reports by implementing operational and control improvements. interact and collaborate with key stakeholders within the Randstad Digital market, including market business unit leaders, senior management and external auditors, and ensure Technologies/Digital market's regulatory compliance and continuous development. have a deep understanding of the risk & control systems and audit methodology at Randstad and coach colleagues in other regions and focus teams on how to apply them, also by working side by side to facilitate learning on the job. are willing to travel; traveling is estimated to be about 20% to 30% of the job.

what you will be doing monitor the effectiveness of the key controls and internal governance for all business processes within the Technologies/Digital market. develop, maintain and put to practice the enterprise risk management strategy and framework for Randstad Technologies/Digital region, ensure the alignment with overall strategic goals, execute risk assessments across the market. You facilitate risk workshops and risk interviews and provide guidance on risk assessments techniques and tools to local management in the region. establish and maintain strong working relationships with Technologies/Digital regional stakeholders and be able to challenge business & process owners to improve Randstad's overall risk & control situation. You know this requires proactive stakeholder management from your part. collaborate with stakeholders to understand Technologies/Digital markets' unique risks, regulatory requirements, and business objectives, and further develop audit scope and plan for the market to ensure alignment with the overall audit strategy. lead and conduct risk assessments specific to Technologies/Digital market, including risk identification related to Technologies/Digital market condition and regulatory changes, and further define prioritized audit focus areas and allocate resources effectively. coordinate with BR&AF's Focus teams and supervise audits and reviews within your Technologies/Digital market to ensure the audits follow local professional standards/laws/regulations and Randstad's policies and provide guidance throughout the audit process. stay alerted on Technologies/Digital's economic/political/regulatory changes, and advise business & process owners on impact accordingly. direct lead/coach BR&AF team members on projects in your region, because you have the drive to participate in control assessments and audits yourself as team member to understand and feel the actual situation on the ground.

who will you work with Technologies/Digital market leaders & senior management, local MT's, client account managers, process and control owners in different locations Technologies/Digital Market regulatory authorities Shared services center managers and Functional specialists and leaders in the Technologies/Digital territories where Randstad is active Shared services and functional process owners Finance & Accounting, Planning & Control and Legal counterparts (including legal compliance leads) both at corporate level as well as in the Technologies/Digital operating companies MD BR&AF, other BR&AF leaders, team members and business partners External co-source partners

what you will bring Your risk & audit skills are well developed, as a critical challenger to management you strike the right tone. You have a keen interest and business acumen for HR services and operational processes in different cultures and accompanying management styles. You have ample experience with facilitating risk workshops and interviews with senior management and know how we serve them and we bring added value by improving their experience and insights. As a Business Risk & Audit Partner - Technologies/Digital - Senior Expert you: have minimum 10 years of relevant experience have minimum a master degree in business or economics, and related accreditation (e.g. CPA/CA/CIA/ACCA) have Business English at level BEC B1/B2 or higher. have a strong independent mindset, and can apply this with business environment sensitivity are experienced in international stakeholder management & change are an innovative thinker that challenges the status quo excel in group facilitation skills and project management & coordination have an agile and flexible working style and passion for on the job coaching and development connect and make rapport to make a point and impact have a proven track record in control design & implementation and risk based auditing. have experience in performing multiple integrated audits simultaneously, while working with changing teams have a specialized depth and breadth of expertise in business process risk analysis have experience with delivering data driven analysis
