Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Audit Manager specializing in US Accounting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and a proven track record of leading successful financial audits. As a Financial Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to enhance financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Audit Planning and Execution:**

- Develop comprehensive audit plans based on a thorough understanding of the business and industry.

- Execute and manage financial audits in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information for audit procedures.

2. **Risk Assessment:**

- Identify and assess financial and operational risks associated with the audit engagements.

- Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and improve overall control environment.

3. **Team Leadership:**

- Lead and mentor a team of audit professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and promote continuous learning within the team.

4. **Client Communication:**

- Interact effectively with clients to understand their business processes and financial reporting practices.

- Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights in a clear and concise manner.

5. **Quality Assurance:**

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of audit workpapers, documentation, and reports.

- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations impacting the industry.

6. **Regulatory Compliance:**

- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

- Collaborate with regulatory bodies as needed and respond to inquiries.

7. **Process Improvement:**

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the audit function.

- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial audit, with a focus on US GAAP.

- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.

- Previous experience managing and leading audit teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
