Job description

Position: Business Development Specialist

Years of Experience: 3-5 years

  • Good communication skills and global experience is highly desirable.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and convince customer to send their Inquiries and requirements.
  • Utmost goal is to get as much as possible customer inquiries and convert them into Orders.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential Market Segments and Customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of Market Segments and Customers.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Prepare Commercial Offers and Quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional events & trades
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
