Job Summary:
As an Analyst in the Finance Domain you will play a crucial role in supporting the data science team and collaborating with the CV/NLP teams to extract analyze and interpret financial data for risk analysis purposes. This position requires a strong foundation in finance concepts and the ability to guide and assist the data scientists in working with finance datasets.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the data science team to gather and analyze financial data for risk analysis projects.
Work closely with the CV/NLP teams to develop and implement data extraction methodologies specifically for finance datasets.
Assist in building scorecards and models to evaluate and predict financial risk patterns.
Provide subject matter expertise in finance to guide the data science team in working with financial datasets and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Conduct exploratory data analysis on financial data to identify patterns trends and insights relevant to risk analysis.
Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing on finance datasets to validate models and findings.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including finance professionals to ensure smooth data flow and seamless integration of models into production systems.
Qualifications:
Masters degree/ Professional Qualification like CA/CFA in a relevant field such as Finance
Strong understanding of finance concepts such as risk management financial markets and financial analysis.
Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools (e.g. Tableau matplotlib) for finance data analysis is an advantage.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Previous experience or exposure to risk analysis or the financial industry is preferred.
