Responsibilities:

• Will work as a part of the Investment team, assisting in deal origination and due diligence of potential investment opportunities (especially in the retail credit market)
• Research & analyse industries/sectors, and segments, & provide insights to the team to develop an investment strategy.
• Create financial models to evaluate prospective investment opportunities.
• Carry out market research through a review of third-party research reports, analyse market trends by conducting primary research.
• Assist the team in all matters related to deal closure, including deal documentation, finance documentation, and structuring.
• Review legal contracts, including financing / investment documentation, identify areas of transaction risk, and suggest potential mitigation strategies, as part of the deal team.
• The candidate will also meet and engage actively with financial institutions and external agencies.
• Assist in other organisational matters as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Years of Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (preferably a rank holder)
• The candidate should be proficient in Excel. Excellent communication (written & verbal)
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, with expertise in making detailed models in MS Excel
• Collaborate effectively with others, including senior managers and external parties.
