Job Title : Mechanical Designer(MCAD)

Job Responsibilities:

The role of the mechanical Designer is: Function as a designer for product file tasks (ECR/ECO) Prepares medium complexity mechanical drawings using the CAD system (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Responsible for the accuracy of his/her own work in terms of quality and timely delivery with minimum supervision. Possesses a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques, and interpretation of Schlumberger/Industry recognized standards and procedures and apply in day to day activities and also recommend additional changes to improve the product file quality file. Possesses a basic understanding of mechanical engineering terms and methodologies. Possesses a good understanding of Schlumberger/Industry recognized drafting methods, standards and procedures and apply them in day-to-day activities. Maintain accurate status reports for all assigned activities Possesses a basic knowledge of segment and product line by maintaining and striving to grow the necessary level of expertise for self through training and development as appropriate for the execution of the project. Successfully complete required Quality, Health, Safety and Environment trainings. To comply with applicable company policies including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures To successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, and driving)

Academic Qualifications: Diploma in the relevant subject (Mechanical, manufacturing or specifically drafting) and relevant professional experience.

Experience: 3-5 Years

Other skills:- Business Systems Mechanical Systems Design Manufacturing Technology Design for Manufacturability, supply chain, etc. (DFx) Creo, AutoCAD, Product File Management Relevant Product Line Knowledge

This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
