We re looking for a Client Platform Engineer proficient in MacOS and Windows environments, with a strong foundation in scripting and coding (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.).
You ll join our Client Platform Engineering team, working across diverse automation technologies to address global end-user issues, with focus on the Fleet Management Product by keeping the systems in a desired state of compliance and configuration. This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the Senior IT Manager, Global Infrastructure and Operations.
Responsibility
Deploy OS updates, patches, and fixes universally, prioritizing a smooth user experience through meticulous communication and phased execution plans
Evaluate the current environment, pinpointing areas for service resilience and excellence, and propose improvements
Create comprehensive documentation for seamless service transitions across various engineering tiers
Serve as the escalation point for complex endpoint issues worldwide, offering rapid and effective solutions
Maintain and enhance the existing code repository (Bash, Powershell, Python, AWS CLI, etc.)
Develop and maintain automated 3rd-party app updates using Intune and Jamf Apps
Provide support to ensure the Fleet meets the security vulnerability management SLA
Stay abreast of IT industry trends, recommending enhancements and novel strategies for consistent fleet management
What you bring
Basic
Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in Information Technology
Proficiency in secure cloud computing and cloud services like Azure and AWS
Expertise in End User Services architecture
Experience in programming and/or scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI (or equivalent)
In-depth technical proficiency in: JAMF and Intune endpoint management software, Google Workspace administration and support, ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence
Familiarity with AWS and Azure
