Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at Rankmantra. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various platforms. This is a Full-Time position based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, and is ideal for a Fresher with less than 1 year of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with color correction and grading
- Strong understanding of video codecs and file formats
- Knowledge of various video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of current trends in video editing and motion graphics
Roles and Responsibilities
- Edit and piece together raw footage into a cohesive whole
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Create and implement motion graphics elements
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements
- Review and improve video content based on feedback
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software
