Boomi Support Staff EngineerJob Summary
Are you passionate about connecting everything and enabling digital transformation? Do you have experience providing technical support to integration platforms and solutions using the Boomi Platform? Join us as a Boomi Support Engineer.
As a Boomi Support Engineer, you will be vital in providing technical support for the integration platform and applications that connect business functions across cloud and on-premises environments. You will also use your expertise and skills to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to the platform to ensure business as usual and business continuity.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers, both internal and external, and resolve the issues or incidents adhering to the defined SLA
Proactively monitor the critical performance and business metrics of the Integration platform and take measures to prevent any system outages
Effectively communicate and collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to resolve incidents
Willing to work in shift(s) and on pager duty, as required
Hands-on experience in Design, Coding, Testing, and support of solutions in Boomi iPaaS
Must have experience developing scripts or solutions to automate maintenance and support activities using programming languages like Python, Java, etc
Must have experience monitoring, managing, and supporting containerized application workloads (Rancher, Kubernetes) deployed in the public cloud (AWS)
Must have hands-on experience with open telemetry-based observability and monitoring platforms and APM solutions like AppDynamics and Grafana
Work in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal supervision
Good understanding and experience with the ITIL process
Maintain and contribute to the user and process documentation
Provides status reports and helps with release planning and implementation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of professional software development or support experience
Solid foundations in Computer systems, data structure, algorithms, and design patterns
Good understanding of Cloud-native principles and their implementation (including Microservices, Containers, DevOps, and Security)
Strong knowledge of integration patterns, standards, and best practices
Experience with APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, etc
Experience with various application domains such as Salesforce, Workday, AWS, ServiceNow, etc.
Experience with hybrid deployment models
Experience with data management, governance, and quality
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
3+ Hands-on experience in Boomi iPaaS is a must
Boomi certification is a plus
3+ years of hands-on programming experience in building real-world systems with at least one of the languages – JavaScript / Java / Groovy
Cloud Certifications in significant clouds like AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Oracle are a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate clear resolutions
