Job description
Headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, Total AI Systems, Inc. specializes in crafting commercial software solutions that leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to enhance business efficiency. Currently, we are in search of an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer to join our leadership team and lead our technology strategy. The CTO will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap, driving technical innovation, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of our SaaS platform.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with extensive experience in SaaS development, team management, and technology leadership. The following are some of the responsibilities for this position: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of our SaaS platform, overseeing all aspects of software architecture, design, development, and deployment. Manage and mentor our distributed development team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our technology stack, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to enhance our product offerings and capabilities. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS platform, implementing robust processes and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with other members of the leadership team, including the CEO, CMO, and COO, to align technology initiatives with business goals and drive overall company growth and success. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making. This is an exciting position with a growing company and offers a lot of upsides. This is a challenging position that requires dedication and determination. Some requirements of the position include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven track record of success in a senior technology leadership role with at least 5 years of experience in SaaS development and management. Extensive experience in software architecture, design, development, and deployment, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a distributed team of developers and engineers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strategic mindset, with the ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable technology initiatives. Experience working with remote teams and managing cross-cultural collaboration. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive innovation and change.
