Job description
As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and highquality output. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams including production maintenance quality assurance and management to achieve production goals.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Identify and implement innovative technologies and methodologies to streamline production.
Quality Control:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the production of highquality products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any quality issues.
Production Planning:
- Collaborate with production planners to develop production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor production metrics and adjust plans as needed to meet targets.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Cost Management:
- Identify opportunities to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
- Implement costsaving measures and monitor expenses related to production processes.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including production maintenance and quality assurance to address issues and improve overall performance.
- Provide training and support to production staff.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and overall operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
