Sylcon Hypermarket is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Reconcile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
Handle tax-related matters, including preparation and submission of returns.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the retail or hypermarket industry.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
