- Ensures the designs meet the quality and agreed project requirements
- Performs as Lead Engineer role to successfully complete engineering activities of the project.

2.0 | Key Responsibilities |
2.1 | - Management | Acts as Leave replacement to the LE / Senior Engineer as appropriate |
2.2 | - Quality/HSE | - Performs discipline check and Inter-discipline check of documents
- Ensures that the required integrity and quality of the work is maintained
- Understands the Quality/HSE Management system and their procedures

2.3 | - Project Execution | - Supports LE/Senior Engineer in Preparing and updating Engineering plan for the assigned project
- Supports LE/ Senior Engineer in Preparing and updating Document Control Index
- Prepares detailed engineering documents, procurement engineering documents e.g. material requisitions, evaluate technical bids & reviews Vendor / third party documents
- Executes the engineering & design works within budget and schedule
- Co-ordinates with other disciplines & resolves the engineering issues.
- Assists Discipline Heads/ LEs in preparing man-hour estimates. Monitors month-wise man hours
- Maintains registers for scope changes
- Supports preparation of Quantity monitoring reports for assigned project
- Interacts with vendors for input data for engineering and other technical issues
- Provides Field engineering support as required
- Facilitates project close out
- Provides inputs for capturing lessons learnt.

4.0 | Job Requirements |
4.1 | Language: | Good command on spoken and written English |
4.2 | Education: | Master degree or Bachelors' degree in related Engineering |
4.3 | Professional Experience: | 5 years in Engineering & Design |
4.4 | Key Competencies (Functional) | - Conversant with relevant codes and standards for Sizing, selection of Control Systems, Special Instrument Systems, Field Instruments, and Instrument Bulks etc.
- Shall have familiarity with Control Systems e.g. DCS/ESD/F&G/ Sub control system PLCs etc, Special Instruments like Analysers, Machine and temperature monitoring systems etc.
- Shall have exposure in sizing and selection of Field Instruments: Pressure, Flow, Temperature, and Level measuring sensors, transmitters and meters.
- Shall have exposure in Control / Shutdown and Safety valve Sizing and selection.
- Shall be conversant with Networked instruments over Foundation Field bus, Modbus, Profibus etc.
- Shall be equipped with Hazardous area and OISD norms
- Shall be equipped with design norms of Control Rooms and its equipment Layout, and field Layouts
- Shall have exposure in various sizing software and SPI Software
- Good knowledge of organisation and system procedures
- General knowledge of management techniques
