Primary Skills

The Site Optimization & Analytics Specialist will support in eCommerce metrics testing and optimization initiatives. This individual will be responsible for executing the testing roadmap for our web and app properties and development and implementation of analytics tracking requirements. The Optimization & Analytics Specialist will be a primary point of contact for all aspects of testing and will interface with stakeholders such as Product Management Marketing GMs and Business Intelligence. Our analytics & testing roadmap covers a broad spectrum of tracking and experimentation including site/platform features promo and pricing changes design enhancements and site algorithms. We are looking for someone with a passion for Analytics & A/B testing who can support and drive our tracking and testing initiatives with an advanced marketing technical and analytical skill set.

Detailed Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

Prioritize and manage experimentation roadmap

Lead discussions with stakeholders to understand test goals and business impact

Identify opportunities to run tests based on effort site traffic and competing tests

Own A/B and multivariate test design execution and documentation

Work closely with developers to build out testable features in accordance with requirements

Monitor tests throughout their lifecycle to ensure testing fidelity and validity

Evaluate the impact of concurrently running tests promotions launch of new features and other website changes that might influence test results

Conduct experiment analysis help uncover changes in metrics identify shifts in user behavior and effectively communicate the story behind test data

Drive the test communication process inform stakeholders of test status provide visibility into test outcomes suggest recommendations for follow up tests and populate experimentation roadmap

Prioritize and manage product tracking requirements

Lead discussions with Product team members to understand their tracking goals and business impact

Own documentation of product analytics tracking and tools

Develop expertise in our analytics and tracking tools including Adobe Analytics Heap and GA4

Monitor product tracking tools for data integrity as site updates occur

Use site analytics and web site testing data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop informed business recommendations to share with the team

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience using web analytics platforms and/or optimization tools such as Adobe Analytics Omniture SiteCatalyst Adobe Target (Test & Target) Google Analytics Optimizely Monetate etc.

Basic understanding of eCommerce business metrics and drivers; should be familiar with online shopping and eCommerce site metrics and drivers

Proven analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to collect and analyze data and make recommendations based on that analysis

Understanding of good test setup and metrics (basic statistics confidence levels etc.)

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) both in articulating his/her ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders

Strong project management skills Minimum of 2 years experience driving experiments from ideation to completion

Ability to thrive in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment with a focus on flawless execution with attention to detail accuracy and ontime delivery

Basic to advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

Proficiency in SQL

BA/BS degree in economics mathematics marketing business or related field preferred.
