ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:   

As a Lead Infrastructure Architect, you will be accountable for designing the technology architecture structure across platforms and networks in accordance to the business requirements and relevant vendor capabilities. Support the technical development WAN Network Solutions to support the various SITA internal BU projects and SITA existing strategy and evolution.

 

  WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design WAN shared solutions for SITA and SITA customer projects
• Includes central and remote connectivity
• Includes validation of vendor commercial proposals and providing costing to Business Units
• Pilot & implementation support and handover to operations
• Manage Diversity Studies for Airports
• Manage projects with SITA Telco Partners
• Understand product & client requirements at a detailed level in order to translate them into technical specifications
• Define Blueprints for WAN Network Cloud access and Security per SITA or ATI Application / Customer
• Support Operational requirements to automate solution deployment and life cycle
• Recommends and participates in the selection of new technologies and technical processes.
• Support both Solution Designers and Project managers on non-standard customer projects and also Operations in case of problem escalation

EXPERIENCE:

• University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Network, Telecommunications or similar.
• 5-8 years of experience in IT network architecture
• Proven expertise and knowledge of state-of-the-art network related technologies
• Advanced knowledge of network and security protocols
• Expertise in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network elements for an international telecom service provider or at least in a large and complex enterprise LAN/WAN environment
• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly interact with vendors and business partners and able to represent SITA
• Strong knowledge of standard engineering principles, theories, concepts and methodologies (Requirements definition/analysis, design, tests, documentation)
• Familiarity with Network Cloud-based solutions is desirable
• Ability to clearly document and maintain reference architectures
• Ability to train other teams with various profiles from marketing to operations
• Team spirit, hard worker
• Strong abstraction skills, Innovative and out of the box thinking person
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Very Good English written and spoken
• Very good documentation and presentation skills

 

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Industry certification in Network domain/products is desirable
• Industry certification in virtualization technologies/products is desirable
