About Kuku FM
We are an audiobook platform who created audiobooks stories and courses in more than 7 Indian languages for the users of Bharat. Founded in 2018 by former IITians and Toppr executives Lal Chand Bisu Vinod Meena and Vikas Goyal. It is a curated platform where users most of whom hail from Tier II and III cities create audio content in Hindi English Marathi Gujarati and Tamil among other regional languages. Kuku FM hosts 150000 hours of content across audiobooks stories book summaries courses and podcasts on its platform covering a wide range of genres from fiction and nonfiction audiobooks selfhelp education titles entertainment news mythology spirituality learning and inspirations stories poems and even jingles.
About the role :
We are looking for a seasoned program manager who can help us deliver longterm product vision for the engineering teams. You will also be responsible for providing scalable platform solutions to tech teams. As TPM you will collaborate with a highlytalented team of tech leaders UX designers program/product managers and analysts to continuously push the boundaries.
We work on areas such as building massivescale mobile and webapplications engaging userinterfaces user personalization platform content systems search systems recommendation machine learning and streaming systems.
You will work closely with the business in shaping our product and serve hundreds of millions of listeners! You will have the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organisation and gain exposure to all the parts of a streaming company.
Key Responsibilities :
Planning
You will facilitate the roadmap sprint and prioritisation and ensure the business commit happens with proper coordination across teams and scope is well understood. Ensures a proper project plan is available for all major features.
You will have end to end ownership of complex and large scale crossfunctional initiatives including project definition roadmap planning resource planning and project execution
You will estimate work efforts required to deliver the projects and create detailed plan for the team
Execution
Owns the overall execution plan and ensures that teams follow the agreed process and guidelines and status communication to all stakeholders (Business & Engineering). Ensures that deliverables meet the quality standards set. Responsible for all cross team communications and guides the team on best practices and processes.
Closure
Lessons Learned are documented and applied in further programs. Contracts are formally closed and conduct necessary meetings to check and communicate that the key tenets of the project are met or not. You will be responsible for reporting key metrics for sprint execution test Execution bugs issues risk etc. to the leadership / project team and maintaining the KPI Metrics at pods teams and Program Level.
Desired Skills and Experience :
Ability to lead cross functional teams of developers designers DevOps engineers.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment & deep understanding of software development in a team and a track record of shipping software on time
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with executives and technical teams.
Be comfortable with ambiguity conduct root cause analyses for key business metrics
Coordinate with the respective stakeholders/crossfunctional teams e.g. Product category marketing business finance etc for monthly/weekly reviews
Must have exposure to leading product development within a high growth environment
Expert in using project management tools like JIRA etc
Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement within the project teams.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies Agile frameworks and project management principles.
Strong experience in prioritisation of projects and tasks using industry accepted methodologies
Ability to understand and collaborate with various functions and teams

Experience: 46 years
Knowledge and Expertise in Project management tools like JIRA
