Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation Lead Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Mobile Automation Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the automation strategy for our mobile applications. You will lead a team of automation engineers, design and implement robust automation frameworks, and ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile products. Responsibilities:

Ø Lead Automation Strategy: Develop and execute the automation strategy for our mobile applications, aligning with the overall quality goals and roadmap.

Ø Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Ø Automation Framework Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable automation frameworks for mobile testing, ensuring efficiency and reusability.

Ø Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and test data for mobile applications.

Ø Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain high-quality codebase.

Ø Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines for mobile automation testing, integrating with build systems and deployment processes.

Ø Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues, providing timely resolutions.

Ø Stay Updated with Mobile Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development and automation, recommending improvements and optimizations.

Ø Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment of goals, and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Ø Experience:

Ø Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile automation testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

Ø Proficient in any mobile automation testing frameworks such as Appium, XC Test, Espresso, etc.

Ø Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar.

Ø Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI.

Ø Deep understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android), their architectures, and testing methodologies.

Ø Proven track record of leading successful automation initiatives and delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Leadership Skills:

Ø Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Ø Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.

Ø Proactive problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset towards automation challenges.

Ø Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex systems, identify areas of improvement, and drive innovative solutions.

Ø Certifications: Relevant certifications in mobile testing, automation, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
