Designation: Data Engineer - Data management

Experience: 2 - 4 years

Primary Skills

Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical) EXPERT

Semi Structured and Unstructured Data EXPERT

Data Profiling and Source System Analysis EXPERT

Data Governance (working with data owners, data stewards and data custodians in a federated governance model) EXPERT

Metadata Management including using a data catalogue PROFICIENT

Parquet, SQL, Graph, PROFICIENT

ER Studio Data Architect/Erwin PROFICIENT

Any 2 industry value chain processes PROFICIENT

Cloud AWS, Azure ( Purview, Glue) PROFICIENT

Systems development including the software development life cycle PROFICIENT

Desirable Skills

Prior experience in leading data governance, data management tools will help in performing the role

Key Responsibilities

• Create conceptual and logical data models
• Create data flow diagram
• semantic data modelling
• Create dictionaries, taxonomies and ontologies
• Update data governance, data catalogue and data quality solutions
• Work with application developers to ensure that data model is aligned with application design
• Work with business data owners to achieve alignment on entity harmonization
• Work with business architecture to ensure that the data structures in place meet the business requirements
