We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Bilingual Business Analyst with proficiency in both Japanese and English languages. As a key member of our dynamic team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the communication gap between our stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in both Japanese and English.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Act as a liaison between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals
- Facilitate meetings, discussions, and presentations in both Japanese and English
- Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process flows
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements and are free from defects
- Conduct testing and validation activities as needed
- Identify and assess potential risks and challenges related to project delivery
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks
- Provide training and support to end-users in both Japanese and English
- Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English languages (spoken and written) is essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP or equivalent) is a plus
- Knowledge of Japanese business culture
