Job Purpose:

Overseeing various IT sub-categories and/or projects on a global scale. Your primary responsibilities involve leading the execution of projects outlined in the category planning. This entails activities like requirements gathering, market analysis, and the selection of suppliers in collaboration with Business Partners and stakeholders. Beyond sourcing endeavors, your role extends to non-sourcing projects, including demand management and process improvement, demonstrating your holistic approach to category management on a global scale.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but not are limited to:

1. Category Strategy & Execution:

 Collaborate in implementing the global category strategy and sourcing business plan for area of responsibility.
 Contribute to driving category segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships.
 Supervise the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub-category & deliver sub-category savings targets following engagement in the target setting process.
 Manage strategic sub-category supplier relationships and implement consistent key performance indicators for the sub-category, and report on suppliers’ performance.
 Manage strategic sub-category supplier relationships and implement consistent key performance indicators for the sub-category, ensuring that any supplier performance risks and issues are resolved on a timely basis to end-user satisfaction.

2. Vendor Sourcing and Selection:

 Prepare and manage the RFX documentation, including the development of procurement documents and evaluation criteria.
 Evaluate vendor proposals and quotes, considering factors such as price, quality, delivery, and alignment with organizational goals.
 Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms
 Identify, evaluate, and select IT vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and objectives.

3. Contract Negotiation and Administration:

 Lead contract review and negotiations for new agreements which including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs), to secure favorable agreements and mitigate risks.
 Spin-off contract separation:
 Manage the negotiation and administration of contracts
 Identifying and addressing contractual obligations, assets, and liabilities to facilitate a seamless transition
 Ensuring smooth separation of vendor agreements and the allocation of responsibilities between the parent and newly spun-off entity
 Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and execution, amendments, and terminations.
 Coordinate the other relevant functions involved in the review process such as Legal, Data Privacy, Finance etc.

4. Cost Management:

Monitor IT procurement costs and budget compliance, seeking cost-saving opportunities and efficient resource allocation.

5. Data management, reporting and analytics:

 Collect, organize, and maintain data related to procurement activities and contracts
 Maintain thorough records, documentation, and reports related to vendor contracts and sourcing events in the Source to Pay system
 Create and maintain a variety of reports that provide insights into procurement, sourcing, and contract management activities.

6. Compliance and Risk Mitigation:

Ensure vendor contracts and relationships comply with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating contractual risks.

7. Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and senior management, to understand their requirements and expectations.

8. Knowledge Sharing:

Share expertise and insights with cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.

Role Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

EDUCATION:

• University/Advanced degree is required.
• Master’s degree/other advances degree in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years’ of experience of working in a global environment in a similar position responsible for IT services, software, infrastructure
• Experience in using MS Office tools, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Experience in working with MS SharePoint
• eSourcing and Source to Pay system e.g. Ariba or similar
