The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for managing the reception area and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and employees. This is a full-time position located in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Proficient in using telecommunications systems and office equipment
- Knowledge of basic office management tasks
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage the reception area by keeping it clean and organized
- Answer and redirect phone calls to the appropriate department
- Provide information to visitors and employees in a clear and concise manner
- Sort and distribute mail and packages
- Manage meeting room bookings and assist with scheduling appointments
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Ensure security by following procedures and controlling access
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints in a professional manner
