Roles and responsibilities: Crucial role in designing and shaping the development of cities and communities. Research demographic, economic, and environmental factors affecting the community. Work with architects, engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated planning. Effectively lead and develop land use plans, master plans, regional plans, and area plans to determine the best use of space for residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational purposes. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of planning projects and initiatives. Zoning analysis and recommendations to ensure compatibility with the community's vision. Prepare and present reports, studies, and recommendations to local government officials, planning commissions, and community groups. Qualifications Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning A minimum of 20 years of experience in Urban and Regional Planning is required. Experience in the formulation of master plans, city plans, town plans, and area plans. Strong leadership qualities to effectively lead teams.
