Job description

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes.

• Ensure timely and reliable delivery of software releases

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Manage and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

• Create and maintain infrastructure configurations as code to ensure consistency and repeatability

• Collaboration :

• Foster collaboration between development and operations teams to streamline communication and workflow.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to optimize the software delivery process.
• Automation:
• Automate manual and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain automated testing, monitoring, and deployment solutions.

Configuration Management:

• Implement and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet) to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production.
• Security:
• Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies.

Documentation :

• Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Ensure that documentation is accessible and up-to-date.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in DevOps or relevant technologies.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Understanding of microservices architecture.

Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
