Job description

• The Sr. Software Engineer reporting to the Director of Governance, Risk Compliance owns, develops and supports the software responsible for the assessment, testing and reporting of the effectiveness of IT internal controls over financial reporting as well as privacy initiatives.

This will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

You will spend your days doing things like:

• Working through documents and conversations with colleagues to understand product requirements for new governance and compliance features

• Shaping those requirements into design documents and software implementation

• Testing and debugging both your own software and some written by others

• Analyzing and refactoring existing software to enhance its reliability, performance, supportability, and operability

• Automate the deployments through CI/CD pipeline with high availability

• Design and develop multiple API for backend services

• Work extensively on integration with multiple vendor API

• Manage database changes, stored procedures on Mysql.

• Work on front end involving Javascript, AngularJS, ReactJS.

• Write JMeter and Selenium tests for web services and the Web pages test automation.

• Support production deployments and troubleshooting.

• Helping the team figure out priorities and processes and what s next

Must Have

• A solid Computer Science foundation in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, and modern software engineering practices from your achievement of obtaining a degree in CS or a similar engineering pursuit.

• The ability to use an object-oriented programming language like Java or C++, scripting languages like Python or Perl, and Unix or Linux systems.

• Excellent design, coding, debugging, and testing skills

• Public cloud experience on AWS

• The expertise to manipulate data through query languages

• The ability to work with large-scale distributed systems

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

• Great team-working capabilities in an agile development environment

• Willingness to engage productively with others in the industry through the mechanisms of open source software

• The passion for building great products, working with great people and changing the world
