Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Technical Analyst to join Experian’s Decision Analytics business. The Technical Analyst plays a key role in implementing solutions that deliver business benefits for our customers. This includes new prospects and new requests from existing customers, supporting requests and actively participating in the pre-sales and delivery phases of complex projects. Ideally, once you have gained experience in the Experian product, the expectation is you will grow to be confident in presenting our solutions as well as leading technical workshops. Experian Decision Analytics helps client achieve and sustain significant growth. We do this by enabling clients to make analyticsbased customer decisions that support their strategic goals. As experts in uniting business understanding with consumer and business information, analytics and strategy execution, we empower clients to optimise customer value and actively manage it over time. This role therefore has clear accountability for creating measurable value within our client organisations.
What you’ll need to bring to the party - Strong presentation skills (workshop, demonstrations, training) - Advanced communication skills both written and oral - Strong problem solving and investigation skills - A teamwork focus, with a flexible, analytical and logical thinking approach - Ability to build and maintain solid long-term relationships - Excellent organisational and time management skills
What you’ll be doing - Assist in Collections business workshops and requirements definition with Product Consultants through to sign off - Assist the Technical Design Workshops, Requirements Definition and creation of specification through to sign off - Development of interfaces and bespoke modules in line with industry standards - Motivate simple, efficient and supportable implementations - Provide technical advice - Configure and install the Experian solution into our client and hosted environment - Technical Delivery / Development - Technical Delivery Support - Business transformation - Understand and participate in performance management processes. - Actively contribute to a positive working culture
QualificationsDesirable Technical Knowledge
o Knowledge of two programming/scripting languages and recent experience with at least one, among Java, groovy, JavaScript, PL/SQL, T-SQL o Operating systems: Windows, Linux (RHEL, CentOS) & Virtualisation o Database: Oracle and/or SQL server o Application Servers: Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, WildFly o Networking: Firewalls, WAF, SSL, ALB’s NLB’s o Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP o Java / Groovy Design Patterns o Java Performance Tuning concepts o JMS Integration o Web Services (SOAP and REST), REST/JSON/JWT o Web technologies – HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, Wicket o TLS, Certificates and understanding of PKIX o LDAP / SAML integration o XML, XSLT, XSD, XPath, Apache FreeMarkero Experience with at least one source control system (SVN, Git, Mercurial) o Concepts of continuous integration, automated testing and other automation framework (Ansible, Jenkins) o Presentation: PPT, Visio
Experience o Experience in Technical development, solution architecture and infrastructure definition o Able to understand complex data flows through enterprise-grade solutions o International experience and ability to work with virtual/remote teams o Able to manage multiple, simultaneous implementations o Deep understanding of systems, processes, applications and technology
