We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team. As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workers and the compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and provide recommendations for improvement
- Train and educate employees on safety protocols and best practices
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and develop corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure safety requirements are met
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the civil engineering industry
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the construction field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficient in using safety management software and tools
- Valid certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA 30)
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations
