Job description
Job Title: Technical Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
1. Firewall Management:
Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls (e.g., ASA, Fortigates, Checkpoint, Paloalto, Sophos).
Implement security policies and ensure the integrity of network security.
2. Network Devices:
Manage and troubleshoot network devices (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, HP, Dlink switches, routers).
Ensure the stability and efficiency of network infrastructure.
3. Load Balancer Operation:
Configure and manage load balancers (e.g., F5, Netscaler, Array, Radware, Citrix).
Optimize traffic distribution and troubleshoot load balancing issues.
4. Web Application Firewall (WAF):
Implement and maintain WAF solutions (e.g., F5, Netscaler, Radware, Citrix).
Protect web applications from security threats and vulnerabilities.
5. Proxy Server Administration:
Administer proxy servers (e.g., Blue Coat, TrendMicro, Forcepoint).
Monitor and control internet traffic, ensuring security and compliance.
6. Email Gateway Oversight:
Manage email gateways (e.g., Trend Micro IMSVA, Symantec Mail Gateway).
Implement and maintain email security measures to prevent threats.
7. Security Terminologies and Concepts:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of security terminologies and concepts.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging security threats.
8. Adaptability and Ownership:
Ability to adapt and improvise in dynamic security scenarios.
Take ownership of security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and implement corrective measures.
