Job description
The Campaign Manager is responsible for managing the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and fully leveraging its capabilities. This person will have a strong foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing, and improving best practices ensuring continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, results-driven, has strong attention to detail, and has a passion for digital applications.
Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of client/internal email campaigns in collaboration with the Sales Manager. Do a thorough quality check of the email creative, campaign setup, and deployment activities.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 5-8 years of industry experience with 5+ Years of Marketo Experience
- Being able to do requirements gathering, campaign Design, customer data mapping, solution design, development, and deployment of campaign solutions
- Must have experience with developing landing pages and templates
- Marketo Lead management experience and hands-on data management experience for customer data
- Must exhibit a thorough conceptual understanding of the entire marketing promotions process & capabilities that support these using one of the below-mentioned Technology stacks
- Worked on at least 3-4 full lifecycles of campaign management Marketo Campaign and other digital marketing tools.
- Must have worked on HTML / CSS / Java Scripting / SQL / Bootstrap / Responsive
- Must have adequate knowledge of integrations of Salesforce / Websites / Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other third-party tools integration with Marketo and must have knowledge with REST and SOAP API, Integration
- Should be able to gather requirements effectively and provide best practices and solutions to client
- Performs day-to-day email marketing activities but not just limited to email campaign set-up, but also scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
- Work with campaign teams to map out campaign logic and workflows and update these workflows as changes to business requirements occur.
- Build automated campaigns, emails, landing pages, and forms in Marketo.
- Set up complex multi-series automated engagement campaigns that leverage filters, feeders, and segments.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly
- Set up campaign reporting, monitor campaign success, recommend strategy/tactics to optimize conversion rates, and execute testing practices
- Ensure Marketo pages and templates are properly set up and tagged for reporting and traceability
- Stays up to date and recommends email marketing best practices with coding, design, and testing of email campaigns.
- Coach and mentor juniors/new joiners
