Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Overseas Education Counselor to join our team at Abroad Admission Hub. As an Overseas Education Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and counseling to students who are interested in studying abroad. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Note: Designations are available for Senior (4-6 Years) and Junior Level (1-3 Years) Note: Preferred Locations are Bangalore,Chennai,Delhi,Cochin & Calicut Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in student counseling or admissions counseling for overseas education.
- Knowledge of various study abroad destinations, courses, and admission processes.
- Familiarity with visa procedures and requirements for different countries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office
Roles And Responsibilities - Assist students in exploring and understanding various overseas education options.
- Provide guidance on universities/colleges, courses, and admission requirements.
- Assess students' educational background, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable study abroad programs.
- Help students with the application process, including documentation, forms, and deadlines.
- Provide assistance in securing student visas and necessary travel arrangements.
- Organize and conduct seminars, workshops, and informational sessions for students and parents.
- Stay updated with current trends and changes in overseas education policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-up with students.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner universities and educational institutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote study abroad programs and generate leads.
- Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer service to prospective students.
