Job Description
- Ensure hotels formulate and implement appropriate T&C polices and procedures.
- Coordinate and support each T&C department to ensure activities are in keeping with philosophical and operational stipulations/initiatives of Accor.
- Assist T&C teams to prepare their Business Plan ensuring relevant SMART objectives are developed which fully address the business objectives of the hotel and training needs of the employees.
- Ensure hotel's efficiently produce documentation required by Division/Corporate Offices collating regional summaries where required
- Ensure all hotels in the cluster conform with local legislation.
- Manage the timely and confidential handling of employee data using Accor Systems.
- Coordinate Employee Benefits Programmes.
- Leads the strategy, implementation and sustainability of Talent & Culture initiatives with focus on global Accors objectives and facilitating communication, collaboration of efforts and sharing expertise across cluster.
- Delivers sound results across cluster by championing implementations, tracking results, problem solving, and leveraging efforts wherever possible.
- Leads the overall strategy, planning, evaluation, resourcing, and follow-up of engagement survey related activities in collaboration with the appropriate business and discipline partners.
- Ensure close professional relationships are established and maintained between management, employees, Accor other Hotels, government officials and the local community.
- Ensure consistent and fair grievance handling and misconduct management providing professional counseling and coaching to correct inappropriate behaviors.
- Ensure employee communication channels are in place to enable management to effectively utilise employee feedback to improve business performance.
- Oversee the development of L&D to successfully implement suitable training programme, ensuring these meet the training needs, and the business objectives of the hotels.
- Prudently balance resources and standards of service to meet financial goals and guest expectations.
- Managing the Staffing and Recruiting Process of Critical positions
- Conduct timely Talent Review Discussions.
- Champions and builds the talent management pool in support of cluster, property and region talent strategy in line with the company diversity & inclusion strategy.
- Coordinates and participates in succession planning activities in the market, as appropriate.
- Conducting periodic Audits for the units and share the observations accordingly make an action plan if required.
- Leveraging skills and best practice within the cluster T&C team.
- Creates value through proactive approaches and collaboration with the cluster colleagues that will affect performance outcome or control cost within disciplines.
- Serves as key change agent for initiatives that have high employee impact driving the teams across the cluster and setting expectations and outcomes.
- Be pro-active in controlling costs being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards.
- Performance Management, provide advice and guidance to the managers to support them in dealing with difficult performance issues. Undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations or hearings.
- Ensure uniformity of culture within the cluster.
Qualifications
.5 + years of Experience.
Relevant Masters/ Degree.
.Self driven individual, with pro active & positive approach to change.
.Strong operational / technical knowledge.
.Strive for results (Success oriented, data finder, proactive).
.Strong negotiation skills.
