Job description
Experience (in years): 6+ Years relevant experience in the field of Automotive Electronics product development and 2+ Years in Functional Safety implementation and testingKeywords: System Architecture, ASIL, FSM, ISO-26262:2, HAZOP, FTA, FMEA, HARA, Diagnostic, Security fundamentalsProduct Experience & Technical Expertise:• Analyze Technical Safety Requirements, System Architectural Design and derive Hardware and Software Safety Requirements.• Functional Safety Coordinate safety activities (ISO-26262 : Part 2, 3, 4, 5, and Part 6)/UN-155 along with supporting processes).• Hands on experience in different analyses techniques HAZOP, FTA, FMEA, HARA etc.• Deep understanding of Electronics circuits, Component Tolerances and Failure modes.• Previous working experience with development of basic/embedded software for microcontrollers and multi-core controllers, configuration of CAN stack and integration of SW Modules/Components into one SW application• Hardware and Software documentation as per ISO26262• Knowledge & hands on MISRA/ CERT C guidelines.• Create Safety work products as per ISO26262 SW Safety Requirements, SW Safety Analysis, SWC Qualification Report.• Perform SW Safety Analysis to identify dependent failures in Hardware and Software Architecture designs to ensure Freedom from Interference.• Hands-on work experience in Electronic Systems, Like FTTI, EMI, EOS, ESD, FIT, FMEA, FMEDA, MBU,• Basic understanding of AUTOSAR security components like SecOC, CSM, CDD• Analyze Safety Manuals of SEooCs (MCAL, OS, Wdg, RTE, Compiler, uc, SBC, etc) and derive.• Understand Hardware design and datasheets of microcontrollers, SBC, driver ICs.• Working experience with version control management (preferably using GIT). Should be able to manage Git flow development model (creating feature branch from main branch, creating pull requests, creating release branches from development branch, merging release into main branch and tagging it, etc.).• Awareness of the latest automotive hardware and software state-of-the-art solutions along with best practices relevant to automotive functional safety.• Experience in requirements clarification from end customer (usually an OEM) and deriving software requirements from system requirements by interaction within team from India and Overseas.• Nice to have (not mandatory) working knowledge of any UML design tool (preferably Enterprise Architect)• Good to have ISO-26262 Level one certification and awareness on ISO21343Role and Responsibilities:• Controller configuration for development of Functional Safety requirement.• Electronic Circuits Design reviews with respect to Safety requirements• Software Code Reviews• Perform basic functional testing• Updated Knowledge of Automotive cybersecurity guidelines / standards like ISO 26262Behavioral Competencies:• Strategic Thinking – Envisioning future, creativity and systems thinking.• Passion for innovation – Out of box thinking• Emotional connect - ownership & accountability and drive for results.• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse/cross-functional teams.
