Position Overview:
As a Video Editor at Picsden, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and creating compelling videos for our clients. You will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with brand guidelines and meets the specific requirements of each client project. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, detail-oriented, and proficient in video editing software.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, client requirements, and brand guidelines.
2. Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished product that aligns with project objectives.
3. Add effects, graphics, music, and other elements to enhance the overall video quality.
4. Ensure consistency and quality across all video content produced for both the company and clients.
5. Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and new software to continuously improve skills and output.
6. Manage and organize a library of video assets for easy access and future use.
7. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure video content is aligned with overall marketing strategies.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
3. Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and audio recording.
4. Creative mindset with the ability to turn concepts and ideas into visually appealing videos.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
7. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
