Job description
As the Finance Business Partner (AVP/AGM), you will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
What you will do: • Providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team and founder. • Creating and maintaining financial dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights for decision-making. • Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and recommending improvements. • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. • Monitoring financial performance against budgets and providing variance analysis. • Managing and leading a team of 4 finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. • Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. • Identifying and assessing financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues. • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Overseeing cash flow planning and ensuring the availability of funds as needed. • Optimizing working capital and managing liquidity effectively. • Communicating financial results and insights to stakeholders, including the founder and leadership team. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives. What you need to have: • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred. • 4-10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record in startups or SMEs. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations. • Experience managing a finance team and driving a collaborative work culture. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to strategic decision-making. • Excellent communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. • Proficiency in creating and presenting financial dashboards and reports.Job tags
