The Role:

Amplifi Capital is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, performing general ledger reconciliation and analysis, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Working closely with the CFO and finance team members we're seeking someone who is able to take ownership of assigned finance, accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, and reporting activities. They will assist with creating, maintaining, and optimizing systems and procedures and will impact decision-making, forecasting, and budgeting at the company level, based on analysis of accounting data and trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
