We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst reporting to the Capital Markets Operations Technology Lead , this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Capital Markets department and its' growth.
Purpose of the role -
To support the Business in developing Capital Markets technology systems, primarily Solvas Loan Administration software, to increase efficiency, improve quality and enhance user and client experience. To assist with the deployment and increased use of Solvas for Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities –
- You will be responsible for working with the Loan Market Services (LMS) team and Solvas Support team to manage the items on Capital Markets backlog
- Analyse and develop solutions to satisfy business requirements
- Managing the creation and delivery of project outputs such as test scripts, process maps etc.
- Work with the Country Single Point of Contact (SPOC's) to analyse gaps between local solutions and Solvas
- Day-to-day management of operational and technical aspects relating to Solvas
- Analyse and clarify internal and external business operating requirements
- Provide project status updates to the Delivery Lead and other stakeholders as required
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide software demos as required
- Support the Application Support team with complex Helpdesk queries
- Support the LMS business team with onboarding of new Funds or Entities and any changes to existing Funds or Entities
- Support the LMS business team with training on Solvas for new and existing users
- Direct and be accountable for engaging stakeholders through the process of delivering the quality assurance, UAT and training before deployment to Live.
- Ensure full participation in the performance development review process of the platform and maintain an up to date record of all training and development activities/programs.
- Actively identify risks and use effective risk management and reduction techniques
- Ensure that users are utilising the system in line with standard business processes and best practice
Attributes & Skills –
- Strong SQL programming skills, including the ability to create and maintain stored procedures and advanced queries, functions and triggers
- Application migration experience
- Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations
- The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent skills in complex stakeholder management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the tenacity, confidence and resilience to deliver high quality results
- Good facilitation and analytical skills
- Application of quality management principles and processes
Relevant Experience –
- Knowledge of Solvas or similar Loan Administration software is a prerequisite.
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Financial/Administration experience gained in a Loan Administration environment
- Proven track-record of successful delivery of critical projects
- In depth knowledge and experience of all stages of project delivery
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to colleagues and other stakeholders
- Strong change management skills including being able to manage resistance to change obtaining a positive conclusion for users and other stakeholders
Education -
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is desirable
