Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Nurse to join our team at Shree Giriraj Multispeciality Hospital. As an OT Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to patients in the Operation Theatre. This is a full-time position located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in OT nursing.
Qualifications And Skills - Valid nursing license or certification
- 1-3 years of experience in OT nursing (junior level)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general surgery procedures
- Ability to provide quality patient care with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of operation theatre protocols and sterile techniques
Roles And Responsibilities - Assist in preparing the operation theatre for surgeries and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Help in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
- Monitor patients during surgery and assist the surgical team as required
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and surgical procedures
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operation theatre
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patients' recovery progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the quality of services
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
