Job description
As a Sales Specialist for Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling AWS cloud services to prospective clients. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, AWS products, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of customers. You will work closely with clients, leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to articulate the value proposition of AWS.
Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations. Understand clients' business challenges and objectives, aligning AWS solutions to address their specific needs. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the broader sales team to identify and qualify opportunities for AWS services. Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest AWS products, services, and industry trends. Effectively communicate the technical aspects of AWS solutions to clients, demonstrating how they can address business challenges. Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose customized solutions that align with client requirements. Present compelling value propositions and conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of AWS services. Pipeline Management: Manage a sales pipeline, providing accurate and timely sales forecasts. Track and report on sales activities, ensuring that all relevant information is documented in the CRM system. Market Awareness: Stay informed about the competitive landscape and market trends. Identify opportunities for market expansion and differentiation in collaboration with the marketing team. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, account managers, and support teams, to ensure seamless service delivery. Customer Advocacy: Foster customer satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring that AWS services meet or exceed client expectations. Encourage positive customer testimonials and case studies. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field. Proven experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the IT or cloud computing industry. In-depth knowledge of AWS products and services. Strong communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
