Job description
Mandatory skills: api testing using python framework, selenium, ui test automation,, azure dev ops or similar tools.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Python frameworks like pytest, unit test, or Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in Selenium test automation is required.
• Implement API testing best practices, including negative testing, boundary value analysis, and performance testing.
• Utilize tools and libraries for mocking, data generation, and API documentation parsing.
• Collaborate with API developers and QA teams to define test requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Integrate API tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated execution and feedback.
• Analyze test results, identify and debug API issues, and report findings to developers.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in API automation and testing.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing testing tools and frameworks.
• Document test automation processes and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Experience in API and UI Test automation.
• Experience to use Azure-DevOps or similar process management tools.
• Strong understanding of Python programming language and testing frameworks.
• Experience with API testing methodologies using Postman.
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying BDD Cucumber frameworks for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with bug tracking, Scrum boards in Azure DevOps
• Experience working with peers and managers who are geographically dispersed.
