What you’ll bring: Experience working with community version PostgreSQL version 13 (or higher) Experience investigating/troubleshooting PostgreSQL performance issues with native Postgres catalog and statistics Experience with PostgreSQL security (creating users, granting/revoking access, LDAP integration, etc.) Solid knowledge of PSQL language Familiarity Experience with streaming and logical replication, HA, Backup and Recovery, and Maintenance utilities including setup, configuration, and monitoring. Strong knowledge of shell scripting language(s). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills 5+ years of PostgreSQL DBA experience Note: We're Interviewing candidates who are currently residing in Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad too! We’d love to see: Exposure to AWS / Amazon Aurora Knowledge of at least one scripting language Experience with Linux admin, storage admin, network admin Experience with cluster management tools supporting HA PostgreSQL clusters (Patroni, etc.) Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/Git Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience with PostgreSQL Database Experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server The impact you’ll make: Work in our PostgreSQL operations team. Provide on-call support for critical applications. Support a growing environment and migrate to PostgreSQL 2013 and Amazon Aurora.
