A sonologist, also known as a diagnostic medical sonographer, is a healthcare professional who specializes in using ultrasound technology to create images of the body's internal organs and tissues.
 Job responsibilities typically include preparing and positioning patients for ultrasound examinations, selecting appropriate equipment and settings, operating ultrasound machines to capture images, analyzing and interpreting results, and communicating findings to other healthcare professionals.
Also maintain patient records and equipment, collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate diagnostic procedures, and provide guidance to other medical staff. Sonologists must have extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as strong technical skills.
