Overview:
The Commercial Vehicle Insurance role is crucial in our organization as it involves managing and selling insurance policies for commercial vehicles. The role requires ensuring that our clients have the appropriate insurance coverage to protect their commercial vehicles from potential risks and liabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and underwriting insurance applications for commercial vehicles
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities
- Assessing potential risks and determining appropriate insurance premiums
- Collaborating with clients to understand their insurance needs and providing customized solutions
- Negotiating terms and conditions with insurance companies on behalf of clients
- Advising clients on insurance regulations coverage and claims procedures
- Handling policy renewals endorsements and cancellations
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the insurance process
- Conducting regular reviews of existing policies to ensure adequate coverage
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Insurance or related field
- Proven work experience in commercial vehicle insurance or related insurance sales roles
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies regulations and underwriting principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and assess risk factors for commercial vehicles
- Proficiency in using insurance software and tools
- Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and building strong client relationships
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Sound understanding of risk management and claims processing
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Certification in insurance or risk management is an advantage
