Job description
Your Roles
All commissioning activities - cold and hot -are performed according to Manuals, and Quality procedure.
The personnel assigned to him/her are fully acquainted with the site specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly.
Be able to do instrument Calibration - Thermocouples, RTD's, Pressure and Temperature transmitters, level transmitters, etc.
Be able to do pneumatic and hydraulic valves commissioning.
Be able to do signal loop checks from field to DCS marshalling
Be able to read and understand PFUP's, SEL, SPL, logics. Etc
Be able to understand Process Logic and work in coordination with I&C
Be able to understand electrical MCC SLD and understand protection settings (LV Only)
Be able to set electrical motorized valves, drives - AUMA, Rotork, etc-
Be able to do cold and hot commissioning of the systems like flushing, start up preparation, simulation, and protection checks
Be able to assist the turnover TOP engineer in system walk downs
Be able to work independently with their own hands on any system allocated by SIM
Be able to work as per Alstom Procedures ITP, ITPL, and liaise with Client to exhibit, demonstrate witness point tests.
Be able to work in flexible timings as and when required
All available tools and aids are utilized in order to achieve the goals of his/her assignment and, as well, to strive for continuous product improvements and cost reduction.
All activities not identified in the standard or specific commissioning procedures are carried out under PTW, according the site regulations.
When acting in the role of Authorised person PTW process, he is responsible for securing and confirming all TIP isolations.
Required Qualifications
University degree or technical qualification in Mechanical engineering related field.
Experience gained on the job during professional life - min 10 years
